MOXI is a mild, non-ablative fractional laser. What does that mean? Instead of harming the outer surface of the skin like ablative lasers, MOXI delivers thousands of tiny beams of heat into the skin without damaging the surface. The heat breaks up pigment and causes the body to create fresh, new cells.

After consulting with one of our Sciton-trained laser specialists, you’ll be guided to our treatment room and settle into a comfy chair. Numbing cream will be applied prior to your treatment. PRO-NOX™ is an optional add-on that quickly eases any jitters.
MOXI has 3 energy settings, so your practitioner will adjust its strength to your unique needs and cosmetic goals. The treatment takes just 15 to 30 minutes to complete. Treated skin will be warm and pink for a few hours. Sunscreen and makeup can be applied as soon as the next day.

Since MOXI is non-ablative, it works beneath the skin’s surface without removing any outer layers—so most patients return to their normal routine right away.
In the hours after treatment, your skin will be warm and pink, similar to a mild sunburn. Over the next few days, you may notice light flaking or dryness as your skin naturally sheds and reveals fresher cells underneath. Sunscreen and makeup can typically be reapplied as early as the next day, making MOXI easy to fit into a busy schedule.
MOXI results build gradually rather than all at once. Many patients notice a brighter, more even tone within the first few days as surface pigment clears. Deeper improvements in texture and tone continue to develop over the following weeks, as your body generates fresh, healthy skin cells.
