Job Responsibilities
- Maintenance of a clean and adequately stocked clinical environment
- Daily restocking of exam rooms
- Timely coordination of patient visits with providers in clinic environment
- Assist provider with patient procedures (lasers and administering injectables)
- Clean and prepare exam rooms based on scheduled procedures
- Remove sutures and staples
- Clean and sterilize instruments
- Rooming patients and providing any necessary prep required for treatment
- Procedure photo documentation
- Patient pre and post op phone calls
- Attending to immediate patient phone calls
- Administrative tasks
- Present fees and collect payment prior to treatment
- Assist with incoming phone calls
- Participation in CPR re-certification
- Obtain photo consents for in-office and/or internet use
- Maintain OSHA and HIPAA compliance within the practice
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in medspa, cosmetic surgery or dermatology practice
- Previous experience with EMR preferred
- Must be able to multitask and perform tasks accurately and consistently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of HIPAA and OSHA
- Ability to establish and maintain professional atmosphere for patients and employees
- Must be able to work independently and productively with minimum supervision
- Warm, friendly attitude with excellent and professional patient interaction skills
- Proactive approach to problem solving and adaptable to different situations
This is a full-time position with varying hours, so schedule flexibility is required. Our office is open from 8:00 am – 8:00 pm Monday through Friday and 9:00 am – 5:00 pm on Saturdays.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour
