URGENT SYMPTOMS — SEEK IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION

• Severe or worsening pain not relieved by recommended measures
• Skin that becomes pale, white, gray, or dusky (possible vascular compromise)
• Blistering or open wounds in treated areas
• Signs of infection: increasing redness, warmth, pus, fever, or chills
• Sudden vision changes, severe headache, dizziness, or confusion
• Shortness of breath, chest pain, or allergic reaction (hives, throat swelling)

Treatment-Specific Concerns

Neurotoxins (Botox/Dysport)

• URGENT: Difficulty swallowing, speaking, or breathing
• Call clinic: Eyelid droop that worsens significantly after day 3–5

HA Fillers

• URGENT: Severe pain with skin color changes (white, blotchy, purple, or gray)
• URGENT: Vision changes or severe headache
• Call clinic: Increasing swelling after day 3, signs of infection

Sculptra

• Call clinic: Large, painful nodules or lumps that persist or worsen

Kybella

• URGENT: Difficulty swallowing or breathing
• Call clinic: Uneven smile, prolonged numbness, severe swelling beyond 2 weeks

PDO Threads

• URGENT: Skin turning pale or dark with severe pain
• Call clinic: Thread visibility, puckering that worsens, signs of infection

O-Shot / PRP Treatments

• Call clinic: Increasing pelvic pain, fever, or urinary symptoms

HALO / BBL / TRL Lasers

• URGENT: Blistering, open wounds
• Call clinic: Oozing beyond expected timeframe, spreading redness, rash or pustules, intense itching, swelling worsening after day 3

V-Beam

• Call clinic: Severe swelling, blistering, or prolonged bruising beyond 10 days

Laser Hair Removal

• Call clinic: Blistering, scabbing, or pigment loss

• URGENT: Increasing pain with spreading redness or pus
• Call clinic: Persistent grid marks or scabs beyond 10 days
